Dressage At Devon's 2002 Grand Champion Offered For Sale M.Ecloir In Foal to Dreamstreet Stallion's Starlight |

Dressage is pleased to offer a spectacular new addition to its sales
lineup - M. Ecloir,(by Amethist out of J'Eclair by Boreas), imported
for Foal’s Paradise Farm in 1997, comes from an extensive background
of successful showing. At Dressage at Devon 2002 coming straight out
of the broodmare field with baby Vivaci by her side, she stunned both
her owners and the crowd by claiming the ultimate prize for the breed
show: Grand Champion at Devon. This wasn’t the first time that
she claimed a title at Devon, and neither the first time she claimed
Grand Champion. Indeed, M. Ecloir’s resume lists many impressive
accomplishments, including the victory of her son, Vivaci, who claimed
1st place at Devon for the colts of 2002.
It is with
much reluctance that Richard Caplan and Mary Huwaldt of Foal’s
Paradise Farm now offer M. Ecloir, as well as Vivaci for sale. “My
wife and I are reluctantly selling our prize Dutch horses because our
4 year old daughter's congenital health problems required us a year
ago to move from Foal's Paradise Farm to the city.

United States Dressage Federation Announces Its USEF Youth Sportsman’s Award Nominee - Meagan Davis |

The
United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce that
Meagan Davis has been chosen as the USDF nominee for the United States
Equestrian Federation (USEF) Youth Sportsman’s Award.
She wins
an expense-paid, five-day Career Workshop Program sponsored by USEF
in Lexington, KY, in June 2008. In addition, she is eligible for selection
as the overall USEF Youth Sportsman’s Award winner, with the potential
to receive a $1,000 educational scholarship, a trophy and a lifetime
membership to USEF.
